Hi friends I'm sorry for not posting anything new for couple of days. We are so busy I can't even see straight. I'm so tired! My back s killing me because of moving and packing our stuff. Yesterday my hubby started to load our stuff and brought it to our new place. Aside from moving thing, tomorrow is my son's big day! I went to my friend's house yesterday to help her set up the place for my son's day tomorrow. Maybe you're asking why we are doing the party at my friends house. Well because we are moving to Austin we decided to do it here in Killeen but it will be in my friends place because the house that we are living now is need to be clean for inspection. There's still more need to be done. I still need to order his cake and buy him gift today. I took an hour to check my blog. I would like to let you know also that I maybe not going to check on your blogs for couple of days till our internet connection is hook up to our new place. Please continue visit and I promise to check on you soon. Thanks!

Learning Toys

Kids are not the same in any ways. Some kids learn quick or advance to what they should be. Some kids have developmental delay or have special needs. Playing is one way for them to learn that they will enjoy or challenge them without being discourage. It's important to find toys that will help them to learn. There is a 2008 Toy Guide for Differently-Abled Kids. Check out the list below.

Gross Motor Skills
The Inchworm by Radio Flyer (2 to 5 years)
The worm moves forward when your child bounces up and down, which encourages him to use his legs and trunk muscles for balance.

Social Skills
Little Mommy Doctor Set by Mattel (2 years and up)
Taking care of a "sick" friend can help your child learn empathy, social interaction, and expressive language.

Fine Motor Skills
TaDoodles All-In-One Paint by Crayola
Beginnings (2 to 5 years)
Scribbling helps develop hand-eye coordination, and these ball-shaped paint markers are perfect for children who can't yet master the pencil grip.

Cognitive Skills
Deluxe Nesting and Stacking Blocks by Melissa and Doug (2 years and up)
Stacking these colorful blocks, each marked with two or three letters, can help your child learn size discrimination, sequencing skills, and the alphabet.

Language Skills
Learn and Groove Alphabet Drum by LeapFrog (6months to 3 years)
Every time your child tap the drum he'll see a letter displayed in lights and hear it spoken aloud, which will help his early language development.

Best Shows For Kids

Most of the kids love to watch TV. As a parent we want to make sure they are watching appropriate programs that will help them learn. There are some shows that will be helpful for your child learning process. This fall there are some new shows coming to the small screen.

Imagination Movers- You can watch this show from Playhouse Disney. The live-action series showcases the group's tunes while also teaching kids hot to solve problems or idea emergencies. The kids will love this show because of music, jamming of the band.

Toot & Puddle- This new show is about two pig pals who like to go on adventures both around the globe and in their own backyard. This will be good to exercise your child's mind about different things and places this pals will going to explore.

Martha Speaks- This is another children's book series that now on small screen. This show is about a dog name Martha who eats a lot of alphabet soup and learns the ability to speak. This will show will help boost your kid's language skills and expose them to new words.

Sid the Science Kid- This show will help preschoolers tackle their most pressing questions, such as "How does a bird fly without a plane? Or "Why do bananas go brown and mushy? And a lot more questions. This show will answer most of our kid’s questions and learn from it.

Three of this shows my son like to watch. We watch Sid the Science Kid and Martha Speaks every morning. On Saturday we watch Imagination Movers. My son loves music that's why he loves watching these shows. He also likes watching Backyardigans, Word World, Sesame Street and Super Why.

Welcome to My New Blog

Hi you guys! I made another blog that hopefully will help you. This blog will mainly talk about our kids and how to take care of them the best way we could. I know as a first time parents we need guidance of how we are going to handle the situation. When we are talking about kids, especially babies it is hard sometimes how to know what they need. So this blog will focus on that topic. I'm encouraging all of you specially Moms to please don't hesitate to share your experience and let's all talk about it to help other parents. This is the best way we can help by sharing our experiences. Me myself as a first time parent I don't know what to do. I don't have my Mom here to help me or tell me what to do. So like I said let us help those new parents. One more think if you have questions or topic you want to talk about you can leave a message and I will try to post or answer it the best way I can. I just want to say this; I'm not a perfect Mom but I learned and still learning how cope with my son's daily needs. By doing this blog I'm hoping I can help you by sharing my experienced. Till then let's all continue blogging.
